was in Bandipur this weekend, It was fun. stayed in deep jungle for a night.

Its a nice place especially if you want to relax for a couple of days.
From Mysore its around 3 hours by road. The only access is via the road to this forest. You can take a private cab or drive using your own car

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
There is lots of nature to see. Best time is around Sep to April. You can see lots of elephants, deer, monkeys, bisons, wild boar etc. No shopping outlets here. Its a nature place, come on!!!

Activities & things to do
Elephant rides, Horse rides, wild life safari, drive through the jungle via forest jeep, camping trekking

Travel tips:
No plastics, no heavy change of clothes when you are doing outdoor. Keep your luggage to minimum & you would enjoy the wildlife.
